As pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, I would like to take this means to tell you that you matter to me, and you matter to Bethel Baptist Church. Most of all, though, you matter to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is with a heart of love that we share this information with you and ask that you give prayerful consideration to joining us as we worship together weekly. You are important to us, and we want to make ourselves available to minister to you in any way possible.

our mission statement
Bethel Baptist Church exists to exalt the Savior by evangelizing sinners and edifying the saints.
What we believe

Holy Bible
The Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man.

Holy Triune God
There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Man
Man is the special creation of God, in His own image. By his free choice, man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race.

Salvation
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer.

Family
God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society.

Marriage
Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. The husband and wife are of equal worth before God, since both are created in God's image.

Baptism
Christian Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in the newness of life in Jesus Christ.

The Lord's Supper
The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
how to have eternal life
If you have questions about how to make a decision to follow Jesus, Bro. Tim will be happy to meet with you.
Admit
Admit to God that you are a sinner. The Bible tells us that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. When we admit to God that we have sinned, we must also repent. Repenting of sin means a complete turn away from sin, involving a radical change of heart. This includes a change in our beliefs, attitudes, and desires. Because our hearts are changed, our actions are also changed.
(Romans 3:23; 6:23)
Believe
Believe that Jesus is God's son who went willingly to the cross to take on Himself the punishment that we deserve. Scripture tells us that the wages of sin is death. What we deserve for our sin is eternal death in hell, eternally separated from God. But Jesus came to give us eternal life. After we have repented of our sin, we accept the forgiveness of our sin that God offers in love through Jesus, and we trust Him to save us.
(Romans 5;8; 6:23)
Confess
Confess
(say, announce, or declare)
your belief and trust in Jesus to save you from your sin. Accepting Jesus as your Savior is a life- changing decision that you cannot keep to yourself.
(Romans 10:9)
